Freshwater fishing rules in Norway:
​
You need a fishing license (day pass) to go freshwater fishing in Norway. You can purchase your day pass (50 NOK) via inatur.no.
HOW TO BUY A DAY PASS:
1) Click on one of the zones (Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3).
2 ) Select "Dagkort" (or "Døgnkort") 2024 and choose the desired date.
3) Click "Kjøp" and fill out the form.
Remember to read and follow the fishing regulations, and be aware of the bag limits for the specific zone you choose. You find this information under the day pass form.
